Time for action, put pen to paper.

Today I have written a letter to my MP about, the two street preachers convicted of public order offences, for preaching from the KJV. See more here.

I encourage you to do the same. You can find the address and email addresses for your email here.

Quoting parts of the King James Bible… “must be considered to be abusive and is a criminal matter”

Dear Mr Letwin,

I am very concerned that the public preaching of the word of God, from the King James Bible, is beginning to be criminalised.

This Monday in Bristol, two street preachers were convicted of public order offences, after a public prosecutor claimed that quoting parts of the King James Bible in the context of modern British society “must be considered to be abusive and is a criminal matter”. more information can be found here. http://christianconcern.com/our-concerns/freedom-of-speech/street-preachers-convicted-for-quoting-bible-in-modern-day-heresy-tri

In November, Theresa May said, “Christians should not fear speaking about their faith at work and in public places.” However, we now have very real reasons for fearing prosecution and conviction for preaching the Bible.

Could you please urgently address this matter and raise it with both Mrs. May, and… is it Sir Oliver Heald who should be looking into this matter.

We, (Christians) are all against all forms of hate, but this can not mean that no one can ever publicly express an opinion that someone else might disagree with.

Andrew Drapper.
